American Idol…

My aunt & uncle had us over for an American Idol party tonight. Carol made some bomb chicken noodle soup with the BEST cornbread I’ve EVER tasted. No joke. I seriously wanted to lick the pan clean. She also had honey butter. I wanted to eat it with a spoon. Carbs + Butter = DELICIOUS, and not safe around me. lol.
After we ate dinner, we headed down to the theater room. I sat on my jumbo bean bag chair and we watched last night’s show. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Stefano, Scotty, Pia and Lauren. Scotty is adorable and I just want to stick him in my pocket and take him home and have him sing Josh Turner songs to me (“Baby lock the door and turn the lights down low…”). Pia is 1. freakin’ gorgeous 2. has an amazing voice 3. freakin’ gorgeous. Lauren is adorable too. She had the flu and still sang incredibly well! Stefano has such a smooth voice… he could sing to me anytime. 😉 James is cute too! Love his voice. But I want to botox between his brows so he doesn’t get that ugly lil wrinkle.
Next week, if I had my way…
She
Lauren
 would sing with him
Scotty
AND
She
Pia
 would sing with him
Stefano
James
and he’s just too cute… so he gets to sing by himself, cuz none of the other girls have a similar singing style…
(p.s. does anyone else think he looks like a young James Van der Beek (i.e. Dawson’s Creek era)???)
My cousin’s little girl, Leah, thought it would be fun to start throwing stuffed animals at me during our American Idol party. By the end of the night I had Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, a blue teddy bear, a lil lamb, a puppy, a bunny, AND a care bear. I told her I just wanted to cuddle with them all and she thought it was super funny. She’d run back around, take 1 or 2 away, then throw them back at me. Fun times. Then we hula-hooped. No pictures (thank goodness)! Is it weird that I think hula-hooping is kind of tough? I swear it used to be easy when I was a kid. My hand-eye-hip coordination is BAD!
don’t pay attention to the poor phone quality photo…
or the fact that my makeup is completely worn off and I look super pale!
Thanks for all the advice on my arch on my last post. I was going to look for a lacrosse ball (thanks for the idea, Amber) but then I remembered I had this little beauty…
massage roller ball from Bath & Body Works…
(used to work there back in my college days… loved the discount, like I’d ever spend $20 on a dumb massager… HA!… oh wait… I bought this AFTER I quit… nevermind!)
 hurts SO good!
hurts MO’ BETTER when I do it this way. 🙂
and it tips over easily when I just roll my foot over it…
took it easy last night for my workout, well, easy on the running. Ran 1 mile before spin class with Janae. Kicked my trash. seriously… Girlfriend knows how to teach spin. How can I hurt so much, but laugh and enjoy myself during class??! I loved it so much, I decided to go back for more this morning. Got to the gym with just enough time to run 1 mile and SPIN again. Holy shiz… my quads, hammies, and calves were ScREAmING! lol. But I do think that taking it easy on my running in the last 48 hours has significantly helped my arch. Feeling so much better. I think I’ll take it easy tomorrow and just save myself for my 17 miler on Saturday.
I’m up way too late… it’s SO past my bed time! 🙂

You are so cute Ash and I always love your posts. I hope your foot starts feeling better soon.I wish I was going to be around to run 17 with you this weekend. Are you planning a long run the first week of April? This would be the weekend after your half marathon. I have 18 on my schedule for that day so if you do to by chance we should run together.I really need someone to push me through these long runs.Have a great weekend girl!
