smart… or stupid?

wearing 4 inch heels to church the day after a long run…
and showing up 30 mins late to church because I forgot it was Palm Sunday and that church started 30 mins early…
(wearing heels… smart&stupid… beauty is pain, being late for church-stupid)
Running 3.3 miles with my Momma and Abby to get rid of my soreness…
the jury is still out on this… what do you think?
running the day after a LR, smart or stupid?
I felt like someone who was hungover, using the illogical “the hair of the dog that bit you” notion, to drink a beer to “cure” my hangover. Like running 3 miles would suddenly make my 20 mile soreness go away. It hurt. But felt good to pound out some of the achiness, too. Weird, right?!
Abby was totally tuckered out. But she loved it. 🙂
this puppy gets SO excited when she sees my Mom and I in running clothes. She literally starts prancing and will run and grab her leash and bring it to you, usually swinging the metal clasp thingee directly into your shin or knee. 😉
how was your weekend??

I am obsessed with high heels no matter how much pain they tend to cause me.I was super sore Sunday but ran 2 easy miles with puppy and honestly felt a lot better afterwards….weird? Yes! Stupid? maybe. But it was a super easy relaxed pace and it is always fun running with a pup.Abby is adorable and totally reminds me of my dog. They just love running and are the best running companions because they push you to run even when you don’t feel like it. Sorry for my rambling. Have an awesome week!

Cute puppy! I can never get away with heels because then I’m a super giant hovering over my husband. He doesn’t enjoy that.My dog has like workout esp. As soon as he sees me changing my clothes he freaks out.

I wore my highest (don’t be too impressed, they’re only 3 inches) the day after my last marathon to church. It was good for my calves. Bad for my feet. But beauty is worth it, right? Way to go on your 20 miler! It’s great that you had such good company! I still think you’re so lucky that you get to run with your mom!

Those heels are HOT. I wore high heels to church the day after my marathon, and every time I had to go down a stair I regretted that decision. Pain over beauty though, right? Can’t wait to see you today!!! xoxoxo
