so technically this pic is from last week… but I’m not getting in front of a camera tonight… ugh.
How far along? 40 weeks! I’m due TODAY. 2 of my friends who were due AFTER me have had their babies. I’m guessing the good Lord is saving the best for last. 😉 According to “what to expect” Baby Urie is (duh!) FULL TERM, should be measuring 19-22 inches long and somewhere around 7.5lbs.
Total weight gain: I actually lost 2 lbs at my last weigh in, which means I’ve gained a total of WhoGivesAShiz.
Maternity clothes? Yup… I’m still loving Diz’s basketball shorts and t-shirts.
Stretch marks? Yup. They get itchy, especially low down on my belly.
Sleep: Sleep is great when I can get it. I had very little to do over the holiday weekend and actually spent a lot of time sleeping and resting. It was wonderful.
Best moment this week: Alphabet wall got completed and hung on the wall.
Miss Anything? My old body. Sleeping on my stomach. Having normal size feet. Having sensation in my hands.
Movement: He was a little quiet over the weekend, I think because I was so inactive, he slept a lot too. But he’s still most active at night.
Food cravings: my new thing is Chai Lattes.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nah.
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: Not much. At my last appointment I still wasn’t dilated (only .5 cm). I’ll get checked again on Thursday if I haven’t gone into labor yet.
Symptoms: Same ol’ stuff. Cankles. Numb hands. Being huge.
Belly Button in or out? Still in. I used to have my belly button pierced and that scar is starting to push out a little, but the actual belly button, still an innie.
Wedding rings on or off? No ring for the last 2 weeks. It bothers me. a lot.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Been way more emotional these last 2 weeks. When they tell you the last month is the hardest, they aren’t lying. I feel like I’m bipolar. I go from happy to hysterical in seconds. My poor hubby… I think I’ve cried more in the last 2 weeks than I have the entire pregnancy. No joke.
Looking forward to: SEEING MY BABY!

Congrats on 40 weeks!! You’re a trooper, you look beautiful, and are doing an awesome job (what TO say to a pregnant woman – plus, may I get you a chair and some water).
I understand the hormones… I’ve been a nut job. My doctor brother delicately describes me as “emotionally labile” – bless his heart.
He’ll be here so soon! Here’s to (hopefully) your last week of pregnancy!

I will be 37 weeks pregnant on Monday and I totally feel you on the mood swings! One minute I’m laughing and the next I’m fighting back tears. My emotions have been all over the board this week. Luckily (for my husband), I recognize my own crazy.
And I LOVE your attitude about the weight gain. Could NOT agree more! At this point, I don’t give a hoot about the scale. I just want my baby boy to be healthy and I want a smooth delivery!

I know exactly how you feel!! I just had my boy July 30th, he was 41 weeks when he was born. He was late! I had to be induced while at the hospital because he wasn’t ready to leave. It took a few weeks after to get my ankles back but how I love my feet now!!
